FSL-1, a bacterial-derived toll-like receptor 2/6 (TLR2/6) agonist, enhances resistance to experimental HSV-2 infection[1][2]. | [Biological Activity]
FSL-1 (Pam2CGDPKHPKSF) is a synthetic lipoprotein th at acts as a Toll-like Receptor 2/6 (TLR2/6) agonist and activator of nuclear transcription factor NF-KB. FSL-1 is based on the N-terminal part of the 44-kDa lipoprotein LP44 of Mycoplasma salivarium. FSL-1 showed higher stimulatory activity than MALP-2 in its ability to induce TNF-α production in macrophages and NF-KB in TLR2/TLR6 transfected HEK293 cells.''FSL-1 is a bacterial-derived toll-like receptor 2/6 agonist. It is capable of increasing resistance to herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) infection. | [IC 50]
