Human CTGF, His Tag (CTF-H52H5) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Gln 27 - Ala 349 (Accession # Q5M8T4-1).

This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 37.4 kDa. The protein migrates as 36-45 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）

結(jié)締組織生長因子（CTGF），也稱為CCN2，是模塊化基質(zhì)細(xì)胞蛋白CCN（CCN1-6）家族的成員。與其他CCN蛋白一樣，成熟的人CTGF由IGF結(jié)合蛋白結(jié)構(gòu)域、vWF-C結(jié)構(gòu)域、TSP-1結(jié)構(gòu)域和半胱氨酸結(jié)肝素結(jié)合結(jié)構(gòu)域組成。CTGF促進(jìn)軟骨細(xì)胞的增殖和分化。在許多細(xì)胞類型中介導(dǎo)肝素和二價陽離子依賴性細(xì)胞粘附，包括成纖維細(xì)胞、肌成纖維細(xì)胞，內(nèi)皮細(xì)胞和上皮細(xì)胞。增強成纖維細(xì)胞生長因子誘導(dǎo)的DNA合成。CCN2在體內(nèi)的功能分析主要集中在其作為多種纖維化疾病中過量ECM合成的介質(zhì)的關(guān)鍵作用上。
