The LRRC2 (Leucine-Rich Repeat-Containing 2) protein belongs to the leucine-rich repeat (LRR) superfamily, characterized by repeating units of 20-30 amino acids rich in leucine residues. These proteins are involved in diverse cellular processes, including protein-protein interactions, signal transduction, and immune regulation. LRRC2. though less studied than other LRR family members, is hypothesized to play roles in cell adhesion, neuronal development, or receptor signaling due to structural similarities with related LRR proteins. Its expression has been detected in multiple tissues, with studies suggesting potential links to cancer progression and neurological disorders.

LRRC2 antibodies are immunological tools designed to detect and study the expression, localization, and function of the LRRC2 protein. They are widely used in techniques such as Western blotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) to investigate LRRC2's tissue distribution, subcellular localization, and dysregulation in disease models.
