General procedure: To a solution of alcohol (1.1 equiv.) in 1mL of freshly distilled EtOAc, 1,2-anhydrosugar 1 or 2 (100 mg , 1.0 equiv.) was added at ambient temperature under nitrogen atmosphere. Upon reaction completion (as monitored by TLC), the reaction mass was concentrated in vacuo and purified by flash column chromatography to afford the respective alkyl glycosides.
