向500 mL三頸圓底燒瓶中加入鄰甲氧基苯甲醛(20 g,146.90 mmol,1.00當(dāng)量)、吡啶(250 mL)、丙二酸(18.3 g,175.86 mmol,1.20當(dāng)量)和哌啶(2.5 g,29.36 mmol,0.20當(dāng)量)。將反應(yīng)混合物在85°C下攪拌過(guò)夜。反應(yīng)完成后,減壓蒸餾除去大部分溶劑,隨后用鹽酸水溶液將剩余溶液的pH值調(diào)節(jié)至3.0。通過(guò)過(guò)濾收集析出的固體,得到25.6 g(產(chǎn)率98%)2-甲氧基肉桂酸,為白色固體。
